Greek identity with a difference, from the inside out and the outside in
(formerly Organically Cooked - Linking Greek food with Greek identity: you eat what you are, or who you want to be)
It seems so... unnatural to see the Venetian port of Hania with this weather. Nevertheless is still beutiful.
In the 80s an italian song composer wrote "Il mare d'inverno" (sea during the winter) when he tried to describe the sensations of the sea cities during the winter time.
This is the song, in the description there are the lyrics that can be translated via Google Translator http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AILftA3E1R4
beofre i was married, i used to walk along the port in the rain or cloudy weather quite often because it really was the best time for a stroll - there were no tourists! but there were greek visitors - i was amazed when a family stopped to ask me where a well known restaurant was - they wanted to go to TAMAM - i suppose they were here maybe for a memorial service, as people often come to the island for such things during the weekend
