It's not all doom and gloom: our garden is looking rather prosperous. We harvested our first broccoli last Sunday, and now the cauliflower is also ready. But the cabbages still need some more growing time.
Oh my gosh, your garden looks great! I love those large leaves hiding the baby cabbages. I miss my garden ... it'll be another 7 or 8 months until I get to experience it's bounty again! Sob!
This looks pretty nice. Reminds me I need a garden too. (Dream on). In my younger days, fresh produce always came from nearby "bostania" (vegetable fields). It tasted .... fresh!! Yes, we need something brighter to think about ...
thank you so much for your kind thoughts and words! Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond - I love your blog and am excited every time I see a new post! I love food and reading about food - so this fits the bill! I have pics of sweet natalya on my site . . . take care!
I'm so jealous - I'd just love a veg garden! How satisfying to be able to eat the fruit of your own labours!
