A completely plant-based meal is effectively a vegan meal.
Not that anyone in my house is vegan; home-made vegan sausages simply taste really good, and you tend to eat a lot more in quantity when you eat only plant-based food.
Sorry about the blurry photo: boiled beetroot, bread, vegan sausages, avocado dip, boiled potaotes, and red wine.

Hello from Spain. Would you mind to tell me your vegan sausage recipe?
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot
ola!
Deletehere is what i used in this:
-a cup of beans
- 1/2 cup fine breadcrumbs (γαλέτα in greek)
- an onion
- 1 clove garlic
- a few leaves from a leek
- a small carrot
- a few parsley leaves
- salt, pepper, cumin, chili, ginger powder
i put them in the blender altogether and ground them very finely so that they became a doughy mixture - sometimes i add tomato paste or olive oil, but this time, i didnt because i wanted to fry them - they kept their shape and i fried them in olive oil
this recipe was very easy - no hidden technique involved
They look delicious!
ReplyDeleteJust any kind of beans, correct?
i used black eyed beans, but i know black turtle beans are also very good - i forogt to mention above, that they must be soaked and partly boiled
