I was recently given the chance to host a giveaway from MyMemories.com for their digital scrapbook software, which I found easy and fun to use. My Memories Suite is rated #1 by Amazon and Top Ten Reviews. Using this software, anyone can create digital scrapbooks, photobooks, cards, calendars and gifts.
MyMemories.com has given me a copy of MyMeories Suite 3 to give away to one lucky reader, with a special offer to all readers and followers of this blog: with the following code: STMMMS91901 you can get a $10 discount off the purchase price of the
My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store, which gives you access to a wider range of templates and scrapbooking tools. That's a saving of $20 for each reader.
To be in for the draw, visit www.MyMemories.com and choose your favorite digital paper pack or layout, then leave a comment on my blog (on this post) about which ones you chose. I especially liked Growing Season and the Courtney Ann recipe book. The scrapbook I created used features already included in Mymemories.com, together with some additional free material, downloadable directly from their site.

Although I am quite good at finding frugal creative solutions for most
of my needs, I do appreciate professional help. You get a feeling of
satisfaction when you know that you have created something yourself, but
sometimes we all need a bit of help in order to make our creations look
more professional. Maybe a bit of advice is all that's needed, or a
change in technique, but other times, it is more complicated than just
that. Digital scrapbooking software takes away the burden of having
to arrange everything (photos, text, decorations) yourself.
Although I haven't scrapbooked in years, this software took me back to my years in primary school, when all girls had a scrapbook and autograph book. We were much more imaginative back then, but the digital world has also helped us to remain creative, as it is full o0f ideas that do not require so much time and pain-staking labour in order to achieve an even more professional look to our scrapbooks.

period ends, just use the code: STMMMS91901 to get your

Maria, what a find your blog is (believe me, I am fussy) - it's fantastic. Wish I had found it about six weeks ago - I live in Australia but we were in Chania for a week! We had a memorable squid and potato stew? in Paleochora and I was trying to find out how to cook it (we have lots of fresh cuttlefish around at the moment). The cook told me she used a herb 'maratha' - can you help me with identifying it? If you have a look at my blog you will see why I am interested in yours! Wish I could have had lunch with you. Kindly. Diane Hart www.growfoodslowfood.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletei ust looked up your blog - what a shame, we could have met up for coffee!
Deletei've left a little note aboiut maratha (fennel weed - not the bulb, and not the ferny frond found on top of the bulb - it's a weed like dill) on your blog - it is found everywhere almost all year round on the island, and we use it a lot in our cooking (i use it more often in winter)
Thank you Maria - I have fennel 'weed' in the garden so looking forward to cooking it up! Are there any onions or garlic in it? Is it OK to use cuttlefish instead?
Deletei've left a couple more clarifications to the recipe on your blog
