The remains of the day (Τα απομεινάρια μιας μέρας)

Yesterday's lunch ...

... yielded these leftovers ...

... which went into a baked macaroni dish.

The remains of our days often end up woven into the next day, providing continuity and posterity. The evenings are always the best part of the day.

  1. food that makes me want to reach into the screen if i could can only be called food P# # #! now picture this , the restaurants in Crete do away with those boring menus and replace them with your home cooked photos , me thinks that tourists will be ordering allot more real food and allot less fast food , something that could catch on if someone started it.

  2. That is very clever to use leftovers in a different way for a second dinner! We always make enough "extra" so we have lunch for work the next day (we NEVER go out and buy lunch) or some leftovers for our dinner a couple of days later. It is so good to know that there is something in the frig to simply reheat or add to a new dish and dinner is ready!
